Stroud District Council - our local authority, they provide funding for many of the Larger Adaptations and also, the Gardening Scheme.

Gloucestershire County Council - important in the provision of services such as the Smaller Adaptations.

Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service - the local Fire Brigade who offer help and advice as well as fight fires.

Care & Repair England - a charity that aims to improve housing and living conditions of older and disabled people in England.

Foundations - an organisation that is the government co-ordinating body for Home Improvement Agencies in Britain.

Royal British Legion - provides a huge range of services for anyone who has ever served in the armed forces and also for their spouses and dependents.

Age Concern - a charity whose aim is to promote the well being of all older people and who offer a range of advice and services.

Help The Aged - a charity who aim to work for disadvantaged older people and who campaign for their rights and also offer many services.

Stroud Volunteer Centre - if you are interested in voluntary work they will help and advise with volunteering placements and opportunities.

Cotswold Vale Talking Newspaper - readings from the Gloucestershire Gazette weekly newspaper for blind and partially sighted people who are unable to read print.

Gloucestershire County association For The Blind - offers support and advice to people who are blind or partially sighted.

Service Personnel & Veterans Agency - set up by the MOD and is aimed at improving personnel, pensions, welfare and support to members of the armed forces and veterans.
