List Of Gardeners Available Privately

Here is a list of gardeners who work with us on the Gardening Assistance Scheme.  We have arranged them into two groups to try and help you to find a gardener that is suited to the work you need.  We have included their hourly rates so you have some idea of cost before you contact them.  All the gardeners will bring their own tools and most have appropriate insurance.

1.    Larger/Heavier Work.  These gardeners are able to trim large hedges and carry out tree work.  They will be happy to come and see you to look at the work you need, discuss what needs doing and provide a quotation.  Make sure that you ask for a quotation and are sure you understand what it covers before you agree to have any work done.

2.    Normal Work.  These gardeners are able to carry out the general gardening tasks needed to maintain most people’s gardens.  When you speak to them please check their hourly rate and that they have the equipment needed to carry out the type of work you need.  They may have a minimum charge or minimum work time – please make sure that you ask this when you contact them.  They are listed in alphabetical order of surname and not according to charges or capability.
